Festival!!!!!

ITS BASTILLE DAY IN FRANCE !!!

The "Fête de la Fédération"is what the french call this day. This day refers to the day of July 14th 1790. This is a Day that there was a huge feast held honoring an official event identifying with the uprising of the short-lived constitutional monarchy in France.

Background of the Bastille in France:
Bastille was the name of a prison in Paris. This prison is formally known
 as Bastille Saint-Antoine and is known for the storming of the Bastille on
 July 14, 1789. This Storming  lead to the end of the country's monarchist rule
 and following this the creation of a new French Republic.This Event was
 commemorated by the Fête de la Fédération in 1790 and declared a national
 holiday. It remains today a day of celebration for the French.
